How to keep a symptom journal on GLP-1 medication
When you start or change a medication, it can be hard to remember how you felt last Tuesday. A short symptom journal turns vague memories into a clear record you can share.
- Write down the symptom in your own words, such as nausea, tiredness or reduced appetite.
- Note how strong it felt on a simple scale, such as mild, moderate or strong.
- Add the date and time, and how long it lasted if you know.
- Note anything that seemed related, such as a dose day or a large meal, without trying to diagnose the cause.
A day with nothing written down is not the same as a day without symptoms, so log consistently if you can. In Platinum Track you can record a symptom in a few taps and see a calendar of the days you logged. If a symptom is severe or worrying, contact your clinician; a journal is a record, not a substitute for care.
