Privacy, explained

A journal on your device.
Choices in your hands.

Offline personal record keeping. No app account. No developer journal server. Here is what those choices mean, and where the boundaries are.

Start with on-device storage.

iPhone 2.1 stores your journal locally with iOS file protection and excludes it from iCloud and device backups. No app account is required. It has no developer journal backend, advertising SDK or integrated app analytics.

Apple Health is optional.

You choose which supported information the app can read. Sharing weights requires separate consent. Apple controls its own Health services and storage under your settings.

Know where your copies go.

On-device storage does not mean data can never leave your phone. You can choose to export files, use backups or share records. Chosen storage providers and Apple services have their own practices. Legacy JSON and CSV/PDF files are not encrypted by Platinum Track.

Keep a complete backup outside the phone and verify restored records before erasing an original. In iPhone 2.1 the journal is excluded from iCloud and device backups. Save a separate encrypted recovery file outside the phone and keep its recovery code separately.

Send only what is needed.

Support opens your email app. The app does not automatically send your journal. Use a fictional example or redacted screenshot; never send a recovery code.

Support messages and attachments are deleted 90 days after the issue is resolved, except where retention is required by law. Launch signup emails are stored in Shopify for launch updates only, with unsubscribe.

The website is separate.

Website visits and launch-update signup are separate from your app journal. Your appearance choice can be saved in this browser. Read the website privacy notice for website and Shopify email processing.
