Platinum Track Privacy Policy

This policy is prepared for the forthcoming Platinum Track privacy update after TestFlight build 62. It describes the app, not purchases made through the Platinum USA Inc. online store.

Your records stay on your device

Platinum Track stores medication and dose records, schedules, weight, symptoms, nutrition, notes, optional profile details and selected photos locally using iOS file protection. No app account is required. This version does not upload your journal to an app-operated server, include advertising or use third-party analytics. We do not sell your health records or use them for advertising.

Apple Health is optional

You control which supported Health data the app may read and whether it may write weights. Imported information is stored locally. With permission, automatic checks occur when the app opens, periodically while active, after local changes and when Apple delivers background updates. iOS controls background timing. When weight sharing is enabled, missing local weights, including file imports, may be sent to Apple Health.

You can disable automatic refresh or weight sharing in the app, or revoke permissions in Apple Health. Revoking permission does not erase records already imported. Medication records from Apple Health are read-only. Deletions are not automatically mirrored. Correct records created by another app in Apple Health or the source app; Platinum Track cannot directly edit or delete those source records.

Files, photos and backups

You choose files and photos to import. Exported CSV and PDF reports and JSON backups are not encrypted by the app. Anyone with a copy can read it. Share only with intended recipients and keep backups in a protected offline location, not iCloud Drive.

The forthcoming privacy update marks local journal files and the widget snapshot as excluded from device backups. Earlier versions may be included in device backups. Previously created backups and exports are not erased by an update. Create a private offline copy before replacing or resetting your device. There is no automatic cloud journal synchronization. App-owned temporary reports are removed at the next app launch; copies you export remain under your control.

Reminders and widgets

Optional notifications use your saved schedules and supply settings. Notification previews may appear on your Lock Screen according to your iOS settings. The widget stores only a next-dose date and demo indicator in shared app storage, not your journal or medication name. Its countdown may be visible on your Lock Screen.

Learning, links and purchases

Saved GLP Brief questions are predefined topic selections stored locally. Source links open external websites with their own privacy practices. Apple processes subscription transactions when purchases become available; we do not receive your payment-card details. Payments remain disabled in the current beta.

Support and beta feedback

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments through our email provider to respond. Avoid sending medical records unless needed and redact unrelated details. Routine support messages and attachments are deleted within 90 days after resolution, except where retention is required by law. You may request deletion by contacting us below. Apple handles TestFlight feedback and diagnostics through its own services.

Your control

You can edit and delete records in the app. Deleting a local record does not erase separate exports, earlier backups or the source record in Apple Health. Manage each copy where it is stored. This app currently has no registered user account to delete. Changes to these practices will be reflected in an updated policy and any required consent.
